Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrade your Witzo plan to increase limits and unlock additional features without losing existing data.

Overview

Upgrading your plan increases your usage limits and enables additional capabilities such as fallback lead form, auto follow-up email, CRM integration, and white-label depending on the selected plan.

Upgrade Flow

Step-by-step

  • Go to Dashboard → Billing.
  • Select the plan you want to upgrade to (Basic, Standard or Enterprise).
  • Review included limits and features.
  • Proceed to payment confirmation.
  • Complete checkout.

Follow these steps to upgrade your plan:

After successful payment

  • Your plan status updates.
  • New limits apply immediately.
  • Gated features become available based on the selected plan.

If you were blocked due to limits (pages, documents, leads, or conversations), those restrictions are lifted according to the new plan.

Billing Changes

When you upgrade, the following changes take effect:

  • Your subscription amount changes based on the selected plan.
  • The billing cycle continues from your current subscription period unless otherwise defined by your payment provider.
  • Plan capability flags update immediately in the system.

If you upgrade mid-cycle, proration behavior depends on your configured billing setup and the system reflects the active plan immediately after confirmation.

What Happens to Your Data?

Conversations and leads are preserved.

Analytics history remains available.

  • Upgrading does not delete or reset any data.
  • Existing data sources remain available.
  • Indexed website pages stay intact.
  • Uploaded documents remain in place.

If you previously hit a storage or usage limit, you can resume adding new pages or documents, capture additional leads, and see conversation limits increase according to the new plan.

No retraining is required unless you manually modify Data Sources.

Important Notes
  • Feature availability updates instantly after successful upgrade.
  • Conversation usage reset date does not change during upgrade.
  • Add-on conversation purchases are not fully exposed as a self-serve flow in the current dashboard (Witzo Desc)
